WELCOME TO OKRA

OKRA is one of the largest farm fairs in Finland. It gathers hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of visitors to a small country village Oripää in South-Western Finland on the 4^th to 7^th of July 2012. 

The fair is held at the local airfield every second year and this time it is the 17^th in its history. Year 2010 we had 400 exhibitors and 50 000 visitors. OKRA  is organized by the charity organization Oripää Lions Club with the help of hundreds local volunteers.

OKRA  is showing the latest innovations of agriculture, forestry, earthmoving and farm machinery,  energy technology, cattle breeding, dairy and poultry production. Several consultants, research and administrative institutions, including the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, will be present to provide up-to-date information for professionals.

Large corporations as well as small producers have a chance to exhibit and sell their products at the fair. Even though OKRA is aimed to the professionals there will be a lot to see for the whole family. A visitor should reserve at least one full day to visit the fair.

For dining and coffee breaks OKRA restaurants are open all day long. There is also several snack and ice cream vendors on the site. Most vendors do accept bank or credit cards. However, we advice to prepare to pay in cash. There is no cashpoint at the site.
